Hi all.

I'm looking to extend my stay, I entered visa exempt, currently in bangkok.

I've read I can do it at IT Square Laksi, can someone confirm, no one is picking up when I call immigration.

Do I need TM30 filed? I'm staying in Airbnb and landlord refused to fill it out.

Has anyone extended recently? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on extending their stay in Thailand after entering on a visa-exempt basis. They mentioned the IT Square Laksi location for immigration services but are having issues with contacting them. The user also inquired about the necessity of a TM30 form since they are staying in an Airbnb, which the landlord has refused to complete. Comments from the community clarify that while it is better to have a TM30 receipt, it is often difficult to obtain one from short-term rental providers, and there are suggestions about alternatives for address proof if needed.

Your landlord will not provide a TM30, because air b n b short term rentals are illegal in Thailand

It is fairly common for accommodation providers of all kinds to refuse to do a TM30, including some major hotels. But that explanation won't be accepted at Immigration, IF they ask for the TM30. It's possible that you'll need a Plan B.

what would be plan B?

Plan B is ask the front desk or land lord to provide the address registration as you need this by law and for Immigration purpose.

- Identify a hotel in advance that definitely provides a TM30 for a one night stay (ask in advance, don't assume) and be ready to go book a room.

If you really entered Thailand on a visa-exempt scheme, not a visa waiver based on bilateral agreement, You are going to go to IT Square Laksi Plaza temporary office, just next to Lak Si station of SRT Dark Red Line.

Better to have TM30 Receipt. But if you are only staying in Bangkok this time and without an extensive past history in/to Thailand, reservation/booking may be used for address proof, but cannot be guaranteed.

You can book online here
