I recently returned to Thailand on a Non O issued in Cambodia. My original entry stamp expires on the 28th of this month. Due to complex issues, I won't be able to extend my Non O for it's annual extension. I am looking to see if I can get a Covid extension on the 25th to buy more time. Has anyone gone from a Non O to a Covid extension successfully? I understand this is all on a case by case basis.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An individual is seeking advice on transitioning from a Non O visa to a Covid extension in Thailand due to the upcoming expiry of their entry stamp. It's noted that applying for the Covid extension is possible before the deadline of July 25, but this transition is subject to individual circumstances. The discussions emphasize the importance of having a clear plan and being prepared for various outcomes.

For what purpose was the Non O Visa issued for...in Cambodia?

For you personally?

As Married to a Thai?

As a parent of a Thai child?

OR ???

Thank you for this information. I am working on Plan B, C, And D... If you know what I mean.

@Katy ******
so you are seeking to extend a Non O as guardian of your foreigner child in school in Thailand. Which as you know requires 500,000 Thai baht deposit in a Thai bank account in your name only.

If unable to meet its requirements,

Suggest you try to get the COVID extension.

And as
@Robert ******
stated...

Have a Plan B prepared.

The funds are no issue. That has been there for months.

@Katy ******
then what is holding up your ability to extend the Non O Visa?

Is the school not able to provide you with the needed support to obtain the Ed Visa for your child?

@James *******
My child's passport is expiring ( which holds his annual extension stamp) and my embassy is saying 1 to 2 months for a new passport.
