TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about obtaining a 60-day COVID visa extension at the Changwattana immigration office after their Non-O retirement visa expired. A comment indicated that they should be able to get this extension due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, but they must apply when 3 business days or less remain on their current stamp. Necessary documents include passport copies, visa stamps, a TM30 form (possibly not required), a letter from the embassy, two passport pictures, and a fee of 1,900 THB.

You should be able to get a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. AS OF RIGHT NOW, Changwatanna only processes extension of stays when there is 3 business days or less remaining on the existing stamp.

Different immigration offices have different requirements, but all require the following:

1. Your passport and:

a. a copy of your data ("picture") page

b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)

c. a copy of your most recent stamp

d. a copy of your departure card

2. [MAYBE NOT REQUIRED AT CHANGWATTANA] A TM30, filed in the immigration office.

3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms, and ant to use their special forms). For Changwatanna, you can find the forms in the "files" section.

4. [MAYBE NOT REQUIRED AT CHANGWATTANA] A letter from your embassy saying you can not return, OR a print out from your embassy website saying they don’t issue the letters, OR a print out of a letter from the embassy saying they don't issue those letters.

5. 2x passport pictures

6. 1,900 THB.
