Has anyone here that's from USA been able to apply for COE on this website [members only]/ ? It won't give me the choice to pick Family of Thai national only gives me Diplomat and international org. Nothing happens when I try to type it in. If I show I'm from a different country it works fine though.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A US citizen is having trouble applying for the Certificate of Entry (COE) on the Thai government's website, as the option for 'Family of Thai national' is not available. Suggestions from the community include applying through the US Embassy or using the online visa application specific to the Thai embassy in Washington DC.

USA doesn't use this site at all. Everything is started through the Washington DC embassy at this link

If you reside in an area covered by one of the other consulates, the DC embassy will refer you to them after you fill this out.

i tried that but had problems. After I uploaded, they kept asking for my proof of flight and my ASQ hotel confirmation letter. No place for ASQ confirmation letter upload so I put it with my flight upload. Sent it again this morning, fingers crossed hope it worked.
