I am Canadian living in Philippines.

I went to apply online and immediately says can only do in person.

If i put any other country as residence it will let me continue.

Has anyone ran into this before? The embassy is 5 hours away so i was hoping to avoid travel just to apply.

And as far as i can see online and in person are the only 2 options ???

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian residing in the Philippines encountered difficulties applying for a Thai visa online, finding the system restricts them to in-person applications. Despite attempts to continue the online application process, they were blocked and faced a significant travel distance to the Thai embassy. Other commenters confirmed similar experiences, indicating that in-person applications appear to be the only option available.

You have to travel to another country, if you want to apply in another country, and that will probably take longer than 5 hours.
