I have a non immigrant O visa. 12 month multi entry, 90 days, expiring 4th October. I'm over 50 on retirement basis.

When I left Thailand in April I didn't get a re-entry stamp as it is multi entry. I plan to return before expiration in Sept.

Should I have got a re-entry stamp or is this visa valid for entry before expiration.

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster inquires about their non-immigrant O visa, which is a 12-month multi-entry visa set to expire on October 4th. They seek clarification on whether they need a re-entry stamp after leaving Thailand in April, considering that their visa is still valid until the expiration date. Comments clarify that with a multiple entry visa, a re-entry stamp is not necessary as long as they re-enter Thailand by the validity date. They will receive a new 90-day stamp upon re-entry.

You could also get a one year extension during the last 30 days of the visa validity.

If you have a multiple entry visa, you don't need to get re-entry permit as long as you enter Thailand again on or before "valid until/must be used by" date. You will be stamped for 90 days every time you enter on your multiple entry visa until that date.

The last day you can enter Thailand being stamped in for a new 90 days on that visa is 4th October.

, You just leave and enter Thailand again (simple border bounce using your multiple entry visa) on or a few days before 4th October, you will be stamped until around the end of this year.

After that, you can do border-bounce to enter on visa-exempt for 30 days.

Or go for visa-run to apply for a new visa (Single Entry Tourist Visa) and enter Thailand on it being stamped for 60 days.

Both are eligible for 30 days tourism extension at the local immigration office (not an embassy).

Are these visas at the same price in each country? I mean when you apply in Thai Consulate out of Thailand, if not in which neighbouring country is cheapest to take it?

you need to CHECK the pricing of the visa at the thai consulate in the country you're going to

GO to the website of the consulate in the country you're going to and read the pricing..

, all official fee at every embassy/consulate is set based on 1000thb for SETV, 2000thb for single entry Non-O, etc.

BUT, each country set their own the international exchange rate, the fee could vary by location if you calculate on commercial exchange rate.
