TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of applying for a Non-Immigrant Visa O (Spouse/Dependent of a Non-Thai B Visa holder) from Thailand while currently on a visa exemption. Responses confirm that application from within Thailand may be feasible if the spouse's employer supports the application. Users suggest checking with the local immigration office and ensuring the necessary documentation is ready, especially if the spouse holds a valid Non-B visa.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
If your husband holds a Non-B visa/extension AND you have the documentation required AND you have at least 15 days left on your 30 day visa exempt or 60 day tourist visa entry you should be able to get a 90 day Non-O based on being the spouse of someone who legally works here on a Non-B visa/extension.
Have your husbands company contact immigrations to get the hand out of documentation required OR go out to Chaengwattana Immigration and get the hand out from Section C-1 <- the section that issues in country Non-Immigrant type visas. Cost is 2000 baht for the 90 day Non-Immigrant visa.
Check your spouse's employer then check your local immigration office. Not many immigration offices will let you apply conversion for that visa in country.
I depends if the company of your spouse is willing to support this request and the legal stay of your spouse. I suggest to get the first information there.
