Am I able to apply for non immigrant o visa for my wife while we are in thailand? She is here on visa exemption.

We are planning to live here and apply for marriage visa after getting the non o.

I am Thai citizen and she is a US citizen. Married in the states.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, your wife can apply for a Non-Immigrant O visa as a dependent of a Thai citizen while she is in Thailand on a visa exemption. She needs to apply for the visa herself and must fulfill specific requirements such as having at least 15 days remaining on her visa and possessing a marriage certificate. After receiving the Non-O visa, she can then apply for a one-year extension. It's advisable to check with the local immigration office for the most current requirements and procedures.

No, she (not you) has to apply for her visa by herself. She can apply for her Non-O dependent to you as a Thai national, as long as both of you meet the requirements. She has to have more than specific days (15 days at most offices) remaining with her stamp as of the application date. Also, she will need a marriage certificate with you as a Thai.

Check with your local immigration office for the latest requirements list for an in-country initial Non-O visa. You need to check with them what exactly you need to prepare, especially regarding to the marriage certificate, which is office-specific,

If she meets the requirements, she will apply for an in-country Non-O based on marriage to a Thai national husband to get a 90-day stamp. Then apply for a 1-year extension for the same reason around the end of 90 days.

Attached is the rough process to apply visa and extension in Thailand. You need to check with your local office about the detailed procedures as well.

Is it possible to download all these convenient graphic explanations from anywhere? I've noticed a few of them in different threads: extensions, comparison of visa types, in-country vs embassy etc, but it's hard to find it again when you're looking for a specific one through the old comments.

, I only provide the latest version of one of them when it might be a piece of additional information to help. there is no place to list all of them so far. Please just ask in this group by clarifying your purpose.

Dear members,

Please remember, that I provide these sheets ONLY in this group and this group is PRIVATE. Which means, I have never "published" these to the public. If you find one of them anywhere outside of this group, it is violating my rights if it's without agreement with me. I have never agreed to provide these to any public groups or websites. In most cases, they are out-of-date versions anyway.
