TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a marriage visa in Thailand with 1 million THB in your bank account, as the requirement for international transfer applies only to retirement visas. However, to successfully qualify, you need to ensure that at least 400,000 THB remains in your account for two months without withdrawal. Immigration is generally focused on your financial stability rather than the source of the funds.

If you are currently in Thailand, you will be trying for an extension of stay rather than a visa.

Personally I don't see a problem. I've had money in my account for years. When I come to extend my visa. Immigration never ask where it came from. The only question I get is how I'm going to financially support my family. I just tell them investments from abroad.
I've found immigration to be really helpful and understanding.

As long as you have 400,000 baht in your account without withdrawing at all for 2 months. It is ok. It is very important that you don’t withdraw it to be less than 400,000 baht because the book bank is checked too.
you have to show the letter from the bank insisting that you have this money once you apply for a visa, to prove that you can support yourself or your family while staying in Thailand.
