For the various visa, I believe the answer is yes, but the amount of paperwork required will vary depending on the nationality and the consulate that a person is applying at. For example, someone with an American passport applying in New York will have a lot less requirements than someone from North Korea.

Yes, they can go on a trailing spouse/ dependent visa without requiring the extra 800K for each person. For children, I believe that is for people who are less than 18 years of age.

No, all “retirement visas” are “employment prohibited.
