TLDR : Answer Summary
The question pertains to whether individuals under 50 can obtain a retirement visa in Thailand. Responses clarify that the main requirement for a retirement visa is to be over 50 years of age, with no exceptions. Alternatives suggested include being a dependent on a spouse's retirement visa or considering the ThaiElite Visa, which requires financial criteria but not the age requirement. Overall, it is emphasized that the age requirement is strict and that options for those under 50 are quite limited.

Yes I have. I was 23 and it wasn't quite a retirement Visa but called a Tourist Visa. They said I could update it to full retirement if I came back to Immigration in 27 years.....
in some immigration offices you will be denied to obtain the non-O for the retrement even if you have all the documents in order and over 50 years, but the agencies do it easily for you by paying
It's quite bizarre as a requirement really. I know the concept is targeted to retired people but if you meet the financial requirement who cares how old you are?
some government officials must be profiting from the elite visa… Which is the only alternative to staying long term if you’re under 50 or haven’t got married/knocked up a local.
No only if you were a dependent on your husbands or wife’s retirement visa but obviously that person needs to be 50+ your other option if you are short of 60 yrs is TE ThaiElite visa for 5 yrs but this now 600K for 5 yrs but you don’t need 800K in bank and you have time to organise bank accounts and set yourself up to change yo retirement visa once you reach that age
