If dependant visas are applied for under a retirement visa. Does the amount change or still 800000. The dependants are family members, below 50 and all of them are European.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, a dependent visa under a retirement visa is restricted. Only spouses can be considered for dependent visas. All other adult family members must obtain their own visas, and the usual requirement for depositing 800,000 THB remains for the retirement visa, but it covers only the spouse as a dependent. For additional dependents, they must apply for separate visas, and the deposit does not increase.

So, if I deposit 800k, I can add my non-thai spouse as a dependent and not have to deposit an additional 800k?

Yes, as you've been told above now go and find out if you can indeed get a trailing spouse Visa at home

You won't be able to get a dependent visa from a Non-O retirement visa in Thailand or any of the surrounding countries. They might be able to get them in their home country depending on their situation but you seem to be requiring a number of them? Normally you can only get for a wife and possibly children under 20.

Only a spouse can get a Visa as a dependent if it's sold at your home Thai Embassy/Consulate. All other adult family members need their own visas.

@Coca *******
Only you have to meet the in country Visa & Extension financial requirements. You're spouse's Visa, if available, will have no effect
