How can I find an agent for my O-A visa application in Bangkok or Hua Hin, and is it easy to renew without an agent after the first year?

I am looking for agent(s) in Bangkok or Hua Hin for assistance with an O-A Visa. I will soon be submitting an application for a 60 day tourist Visa.

I understand that I will need to be living in the area where the agent will be and the one year renewal process will need to take place where you received the Visa in the first place. I don't have a monthly income but plan to go with the 800,000 baht deposit.

After the first year, is it easy to renew without an agent?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking recommendations for agents to assist with the O-A visa application process in Bangkok or Hua Hin while preparing to submit a 60-day tourist visa. The conversation clarifies that O-A visas must be applied for from the home country and that the Non-O visa could be a viable alternative if the user is over 50. Multiple commenters suggest that renewing the visa should be manageable without an agent if the user meets the requirements, particularly with the support available at local immigration offices. Overall, there is encouragement for self-management of the visa renewal process.

Why do you need or want an agent...if you have seed money, over 50, piece of cake.

Every Immig office have people to assist.

You should be able to renew without an agent as long as you correctly file your updated TM30, and meet all the requirements.

If you're in the UK just get the Non Imm O visa there, so much easier. No need to get a Tourist Visa.

That’s your best option. Apply for a regular 90 days before you go, open a bank account and get extension of stay in Thailand.

Much easier in the UK. No need for onward travel and no problem opening a bank account, no extra trip to Immigration to convert the Tourist Visa

Non OA is obtained in home country, requirements are Police check, medical certificate, health insurance and show funds in bank.

Non O requirements are rental contract 800k banked funds in thai bank. TM30 done.

You CAN get the Non Imm O in the UK. Why do you keep on about the OA? The post is about the O, nothing to do with the OA. Try giving you head a wobble!

Non Imm O NOT OA

You can't get a Non-O/A-Visa inside the country, only in your home from the Embassy.

The renewal process is quite easy to do by yourself - if you fulfill the requirements -, not really need to use an agent.
Stuart *********
You’ll not be getting a Non OA visa as that can only be applied for in your home country. You can apply for a Non O Visa based on being over 50.

Speak to

they can arrange for you.
