Doing a first-time 90 day report for an existing retirement extension under a type O Visa, is it necessary to go in person, or can I hire an agent for this? In Krabi if that matters. Thank you for any good advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For your first-time 90-day report relating to a retirement extension under a type O Visa in Thailand, you are required to go in person. However, after your initial report, you have options for online submissions. Some comments note that while hiring an agent is possible, it may not be necessary due to the straightforward nature of the process. Additionally, it's mentioned that in places like Phuket, there are expedited services available, but specific information about Krabi was not detailed.

I don’t know about Krabi but in Phuket they have a drive through service. You hand over your passport (and nothing else) and within 5 minutes you’re done. I can’t see how an agent would help other than if you can’t spare the time for a trip to the immigration office.
Sorry deleted my initial comment as I hadn’t realised you were referring to a 90 day report rather than getting the extension. Anyone can do a 90 day report for you.
