Good afternoon to the group. I have a question if I may.

My friend from Mexico will visit Thailand and will get 15 day visa on arrival. He also wants to visit Cambodia day 7 and 8. My questions are this please if you can help me and if you have a link to go with it, that would be awesome.

1. Can he get a re-entry permit with visa on arrival?

2. Will Thailand let him back in on day 8 because they are stamping him out so I am not sure if that will force him to get another 15 day visa on arrival or if he can use the original visa because it hadn't expired but he is leaving and returning?

3. Will Sa Kaeo let him back in the same day because one time, Sa Kaeo said he needs to spend the night in Cambodia but wasn't sure what that was about.

4. If he cannot use the original e-visa, will Thailand allow him to get another e-visa right away?

Thank you so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A tourist from Mexico can obtain a 15-day visa on arrival and is allowed to visit Cambodia. Regarding the return to Thailand, he does not need a re-entry permit and can get a second visa on arrival upon return, provided he exits through a designated border point. Additionally, there may be restrictions or recommendations regarding the border he uses, such as avoiding Poi Pet. He cannot secure an e-visa at the border and must return with a new application from his home country.

Poi pet is the one border to avoid at all costs,e-visas are only available in your home country

mexico doesn't participate in the eVisa program only 38 cities in 23 countries do at this time

He gets a Visa on arrival 15 days.

No need for entry permit

He will get a second visa on arrival when he comes back to Thailand.

But he will have to fly back.

for example if he leaves Thailand November 14 to go to Poi Pet. Can he fly into Suvarnabhumi the same evening and get another visa on arrival OR does he need to stay one night overnight in Cambodia?

ok

, That is a tricky part. on Thailand side, he can fly back to Thailand on the same day. But it's another story if Cambodia let you fly out on the same day as you enter. Check the tourism travel restriction there. There are several conditions to define if he can leave or he needs to stay. It IS out of the scope of this group.

so then Thailand visa would not pick up the date it left off right? My other question is poipet cannot give visa on arrival because it must be a Thai airport

I don't believe ANY land border with cambodia will sell 15 day visa on arrival to the 15 countries that get them when they enter the country.
Tod *********
@Edgar ******
nope, the first visa on arrival cancels when he exits the country and when he comes back he can't get a visa on arrival at poipet crossing by land he has to FLY in
