Hi, I am a Bulgarian citizen and I fly to Thailand on the 25th of November.
However, I am not sure if my visa application will be reviewed by then. Have anyone applied for a single entry visa from Laos? Is it possible? Because on the internet, it only says you should apply at your local embassy. (Need single entry, not voa)
But on the Laos Thai embassy website, it says you can apply for single entry and multi entry visas, but only for the multi entry it says its only for Laos citizens, so maybe the single entry would be possible for other nationalities too?
Notes: I have paid 3 months of hotel and plain tickets and I cannot get refund for both. I applied on the 20th of October but I got rejected for wrong issue date of the passport first (I am sure it was not wrong, because I recorded a video of the process, so my friends can see how to apply too, as they were supposed to come too). So the second time I applied on the 12th of November, thinking I will not be at the end of the queue, since it was an issue with the system, but the embassy won't care of course.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A Bulgarian citizen traveling to Thailand on November 25 is unsure about applying for a single entry visa from Laos, as the local embassy's website mentions that only multi-entry visas are available for Laos nationals. Despite successfully reapplying for the visa after a previous rejection, there is concern about processing time before departure. Comments advise that applying from Laos for a single entry visa should be possible, provided the applicant is not from a country subject to extended processing times and can demonstrate adequate funds and bookings.
