TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the process for obtaining a multiple entry and 6-month tourist visa to Thailand from Germany. They express concerns about booking a return ticket without being guaranteed the visa approval within the expected time frame. Comments indicate that such visas should be applied for in the applicant's home country or where they have legal residence, and that a 60-day multi-entry visa is available but online applications do not cover a 6-month duration.

Mine took a week to come through after submitting

You opt for the 60 day multi entry, you won’t get 6 months online

You can only get that visa from your home country or where you have legal residence.
