Mike, in my case I have an account at Bangkok Bank and on two occasions this year TransferWise partnered with Kasikorn locally to transfer my money into Bangkok Bank and it DID NOT show up as an FTT, or Internationsl Transfer. I emailed customer support at TransferWise and explained the problem, and they agreed to flag my TransferWise account to always use Bangkok Bank as their partnering bank to send money to my account. So far this has worked successfully and all of my transfers have come in as FTT. Perhaps you can open an account at Bangkok Bank if you haven't already.
