I normally remit the funds using Transferwise but they confirm that they can only show the money as a domestic transfer to Kasikorn (they say now only Bangkok Bank shows as interbational). If I show the full transfer details/documents will that be acceptable as proof as coming from overseas? Chiang Mai immigration.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user questions the acceptability of showing domestic transfers from Transferwise as proof of overseas funds when dealing with Chiang Mai immigration. The discussion reveals varying opinions, with some suggesting direct communication with the immigration office before application for extensions and others sharing personal experiences with Transferwise transfers and different Thai banks.
And as our friend made the page Transferwise Solutions to discuss in length how this app works the best for you, I would say, become a member and continue there. How to send and transfer money into a Thai bank is not that visa related to keep posts open for discussion on this page.
Mike, in my case I have an account at Bangkok Bank and on two occasions this year TransferWise partnered with Kasikorn locally to transfer my money into Bangkok Bank and it DID NOT show up as an FTT, or Internationsl Transfer. I emailed customer support at TransferWise and explained the problem, and they agreed to flag my TransferWise account to always use Bangkok Bank as their partnering bank to send money to my account. So far this has worked successfully and all of my transfers have come in as FTT. Perhaps you can open an account at Bangkok Bank if you haven't already.
I would also check with the Chiang Mai immigration office BEFORE you need to apply for your extension on the chance they're gonna say NOPE you can't show domestic deposits so you can come up with a plan B,
Thanks I will do that but at the end of the day I will have to use my normal bank which will be more expensive. Still a good investment to enable the to stay legally.
