The sea is very rough in these days, don't wait the last second to come to Samui. When the sea is so rough you better use Seatran Ferry.

Unfortunately there’s not much we can do.

The Immigration in Samui requires a "school leave letter" to issue the re-entry permit.

On top of it the Immigration boss said that

- up to 7 days leave: no problem

- up to 14 days leave: the student must have (and prove) a "valid reason" (holidays are obviously not considered a valid reason)

- after 15 days the immigration can cancel the visa, no matter if you have the re-entry permit.
