When has this become in force please, document has no date on it. Apparently Thai PM has asked gov to speed up opening for tourists. The above shown 30 day Tourist visa cabinet to discuss this week, extending to 45 days.

This 60 day Tourist visa is what I applied for but embassy today sent me email saying 200 000 baht in bank, bizarre!

I expect COE still required .

Was exemption announced a few days ago ?

You stating the obvious. I have a quarantine booking reserved already. Contacting the embassy takes days by email and no phone service unfortunately to speed up any query.

Don't see any mention of bank funds on attached document. Personally I'm applying for 60 day Tourist visa.

Has everyone else been asked for 200 000 baht as funds to show? The funds can be arranged but requires time.

Curious why I have not seen the amount stipulated from the embassy, I feel more clarity required.

Embassy London not answering phones, perhaps too much work.

Secondly, I was under the impression bank statement required 20 000 baht for single person but today embassy asked for 200 000 baht(5000 pounds).

I wish embassy would make known their requirements beforehand.
