Can l do a extension 30 days early on the first 90 Day Non O VISA.? Kalasin Immigration. Sorry for being annoying just want to clarify in my head

Kalasin Immigration extension report.

I just got my year extension from Kalasin Immigration.The Canadian Embassy in Bangkok makes me proud. They make it easy to get a letter of income. Just email them a signed affidavit of your income, tax receipts to prove such and then an authorizion for them to deduct $50 CDN from your credit card and they ems you the letter.

I got to the Kalasin Immigration office at 8:30, it was open, but no one was there. At 9 someone showed up took my paperwork, the TM7 form, with a picture, the letter of income, passport copies, I had 14 pages condensed to two pages front and back. I also included a copy of my yellow book and my pink ID card. That was it. They then handed me two forms to fill out and sign and gave me a year extension. They also have me a 90 day report since mine was due in fifteen days. All in all a very easy experience.

Although I have been coming to Thailand since 2003, this trip is the first time I have ever applied for a visa. I got myself a 60 day from London before I came out. Once the UK put Thailand on their red list I started thinking about staying longer to avoid 19 days in a cheap hotel with a high price tag upon my return. Not wanting to get anything wrong I went over to Kalasin immigration at 16.00 today, just to ask what I needed to get an extension. I left at 16.30 with a thirty day extension in my passport to start on the 30th of this month. The people in there could not have been more helpful and worked right up to clocking off time so I didn’t have to go back. I have read many horror stories before so went in ready for a long slog. Still smiling that I have my stamp and can now stay to the end of October.thank you Kalasin Immigration, a good team you have there.

Can I do my 90 day reporting in Bangkok even though I Stay in kalasin as a tourist and I'm under amnesty of Covid Visa.

Kalasin Immigration is now open, you will find it at Kalasin Police station upstairs. It is a small office with from what I saw only two officers, both gentlemen. I found one of them Khun Jonathan to very abrupt and unnecessarily aggressive at first, however he did lighten up after a while. I was only in for Visa extension, which did seem to take an age to process, with the usual blame being put on the system. Anyway it’s open and certainly saves having to travel to Sakhon Nakhon........I also need to tell you, if you didn’t already know, your 24 hour residence report must be done at an Immigration office. I was told that it can be done at a police station, which I have done the last 2 times. Khun Jonathan tells me, this is not acceptable and must be done at an Immigration office.

Has the new Kalasin Immigration office opened yet? I understand it has.
