Kalasin Immigration extension of stay due to retirement report. I went to Kalasin immigration today. No problems, although I was there at 08:30 their first customer and as far as I could see only one. One or two came in but seemed to be only asking for information. However it took to 09:25 to get the stamp. I'm not sure why so long, last year it was about 25 minutes. I took copies of my passport, all pages with stamps, also the copy of my notification of address (tm30) plus a copy of my 90 day report. The only other thing I took was my yellow book and a copy, my passport of course, and the filled in Tm7 Form. Also since I am a Canadian and my consulate still issues income letters, I took it. They asked for two pictures, which I had. They also asked for my bank book, which I did not have. I explained that I was using a consulate letter of income as proff of income and had never needed a bank book before. The young girl at reception was confused by this, but went back and checked and didn't ask again for the bank book. A pretty simple affair all in all, and the officers were very nice and polite. I wore dress pants, dress shirt, and a tie. Only time of the year I wear a tie. LOL
