Can anyone explain this to me pls. :

Last time I had a 30 days extention I did it at immigration at Chaeng Wattana.

After a border run I today again visited immigration at Chaeng Wattana for an new 30 days extension, but they sent me to immigration at Lak Si to do it.

Why?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user initially obtained a 30-day extension at the Chaeng Wattana immigration office, but after a border run, was directed to the Lak Si immigration office for a new extension. Community members explained that the required office may depend on the type of entry visa used, distinguishing between tourist visas and visa exemptions.

Just as a guess... the Immigration you went to could explain? Did you ask them?

Thank you
@Stuart ********
, now I understand, after my 60 days tourist visa I went to CW, and wasn’t aware of Lak si, so I went back to CW after my border run.

(We learning new things every day 😁)

Probably because you went to the wrong office?

If you enter using a tourist visa then you use the main office at CW.

If you enter using visa exempt then you use Laksi for your extension.
