Krabi Immigration Update:

Just closed the loop on my under consideration stamp dated April 14th. I figured I'd better try today since Songkran is next week.

It took 10-15 minutes. I just explained what I was doing there to one of the helpers and she ran off with my passport for 10 min and came back with shiny new stamp.

Stamped until May 29th.
Answer summary
A recent update from a user indicates that they successfully obtained a new stamp at Krabi Immigration, extending their visa until May 29th. The process took about 10-15 minutes and was completed before the Songkran festival, after the user explained their situation to a helper who facilitated the process.
