Just got my Visa approved in HCM Vietnam.

Prior before travelling there I sent an e-mail to the Thai Embassy in HCM to ask specifically which documents I have to prepare as I saw in this group that every Embassy has a bit different requirments.

They sent me the official Thai e-visa page with the requirments and a Message that it will take 5 days.

I prepared everything correct as stated on the Website. After travelling to HCM I applied for the Visa. 3 days later I got the request for further documents.

-Transactions and Financial Proof of the last 6 months with not less than 500k baht

I uploaded the documents and got the approval friday at midnight.

I would recommend to do it through an agency.

I am trying to decide where to apply for the DTV HCMC/Hanoi/Vientiane, but I cannot find the link to book an appointment online in these locations. I want to check the appointment availability before I apply. I started the visa application for HCMC on [members only]/ but I cannot see where to book an appointment. Do I need to submit the application first and then book an appointment?

Just wanted to let anyone interested know that I got a Non-Imm O multi-entry visa based on marriage with ease in HCMC. I provided letter from wife, she was not present, copy of marriage certificate, the one with rose borders, copy of wife’s Thai ID, front and back and copy of her house book, first page and her details page. She signed all docs pertaining to her. For good measure I also gave and was accepted, a copy of her passport, our child’s birth certificate and a copy of my lease. No financial docs given or asked for. Submitted Wednesday picked up Thursday afternoon.

I chose HCMC over Savannakhet due to ease of getting here, more flight options, and taking a little holiday.

What is the status of Non-o based on retirement at HCMC? Is proof on funds required?

Heads up. ME Non O based on marriage in HCMC requires letter from Thai spouse written in Thai their name, job and guarantee of documents. Also the fee for ME is $200US.
