Yep, HCMC and Seoul require a letter from your wife, but it only needs to be a simple letter with her name and then her asking they issue you a visa.

Other than that they require the same documentation as Savannakhet or Seoul. You sign the copies of things with your name on them and she sings copies of things with her name on them (meaning you BOTH sign the marriage certificate) ;)

Actually they didn't ask her to sign the marriage cert but I'm sure it's better to do it just in case. Yes a simple letter in Thai.

yes you can apply in the morning 10-11.30 or in the afternoon 1.30-3. either way you will collect the next day between 1.30-3.

I think it's advisable to hand in the application in the morning because in the afternoon you have the collectors...
