TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about potentially being blacklisted from entering Thailand after being deported. The discussion outlines that blacklisting can occur due to a court ruling or immigration decisions, with typical bans lasting up to 5 years. Appeals are possible but require valid justification, such as family connections. Additionally, clarification is provided on the importance of official documentation, indicating that mere verbal statements from officers may not constitute formal blacklisting.

BTW a new passport or even a name change does not help.

You can send the stamp to Tod or myself by pm. As member pointed out you will only be blacklisted by Court ruling or Immigration. In general blacklist is 100 years unless you got caught overstaying and you have the right to appeal after 5 years, but you would need a valid reason to overturn the ban, join family, etc.

. You should be able to appeal if you were judged 'not guilty' by the court.

This is an example stamp of the blacklist, if you have that in your passport, you can not enter Thailand during the period mentioned.

So no stamp, no letter, and a Police man telling things. Blacklist is given by the judge in court or Immigration at departure. Not by traffic police.

You also got a letter stating that you're blacklisted. Only someone telling you you might be blacklisted does not count.
