TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian national living in Thailand is facing difficulties renewing their NON-O visa, alleging that the immigration officer claims Indians are considered part of a blacklist country. The officer is reportedly demanding a bribe of 20,000 THB to process the visa renewal, a practice the individual experienced before. Community responses suggest ways to address this issue, including speaking to other officers, filing complaints, and exploring legal advice.

You need to visit with your Thai wife and let sort out. After all it would be wise .

Take her picture, then go to the main police headquarters across from Centralworld and file a complaint. After that contact the Bangkok Post newspaper, and give them the story in detail. Making bribery cases like this public has results, and action is taken very fast when Thailand's image is affected. Last month there were 11 immigration officers fired for similar bribery and policy violations. Also, the covid extensions ended so she can't give you one of those.

(1) move so got to deal with another office, (2) go get 1 year multiple in another country (savanakhet loas).

(3) report it (but i wouldnt do that without actual evidence).

There are no more covid extensions now I thought.
