TLDR : Answer Summary
Anna is seeking advice on obtaining a business visa for working as a freelance yoga teacher in Thailand. She inquires about the possibility, costs, and requirements. A comment notes that freelancing may not be possible without a work permit from an employer.
Sure you can open your a business. 49% yours and 51% Thai partners so it will be not your business. Miimum 4 Thai staff to get apply for Work Permit, monthly salaries, taxes, and social security. Yearly taxes on income of company, account costs. All depending on how much money your are going to make, hard to tell the costs. Please ask an accountant or laywer in your area.
Working on different address or doing things not mentioned in the work permit is seen as working illegal. People do it, they love taking risks. I would not dare to do it myself or advice to do the same as them.
In your work permit is an address where you can work and a job definition. You can only work at that address and do what is written down in definition.
So, how can people here do workshop or anything teaching related here?. Hmm why I have working permit and apply for business visa but still can not work as a freelance yoga teacher here? Thanks
