TLDR : Answer Summary
A yoga teacher looking to teach in Thailand suggests they need a visa. Responses advise contacting organizations for sponsorship, seeking employment at local yoga schools for a work permit, or potentially starting their own company. To work legally, a Non Immigrant B visa along with a work permit is necessary. There are also concerns about employment limitations for foreigners.

Okay, I think it is now clear enough to teach Yoga inside Thailand you need a work permit, provided by your employer or by setting up your own company. And a Non Immigrant B visa, if not married to a Thai National. I wish you good luck.

, detta blir nog svårt då jag inte tror att Faranger får ha detta yrke då det är något som Thaiare klarar av att utföra.....

technically same rules, yes. However not for those who practise illegally. And there are many that do. They meet in social media and fly under the radar. On the islands a veranda full of foreigners practising Yoga does not nearly look like "work". That's why it goes undetected. Yet a majority of Schools practise legally and can supply a teacher with the correct paperwork

The school needs to meet the requirements to hire a foreigner, if they do application of WP is not that hard. If they meet the requirements of Immigration application of Non Immigrant B and later the Extension of Stay is not difficult

you can actually find some Thailand based Yoga classes if you use the search function in Facebook. Just input Yoga and Thailand into the search. There are literally hundreds of them

This could be a bit hard since I don't think this is a job that Farangs can do because this is something even a Thai person can do.

Visit all yoga schools you can find, ask them to employ you, apply for the work permit and you can apply for the Non Immigrant B visa.

To start your own business in Thailand, you contact a Thai lawyer or accountants office who will provide you all the information and help to set up a company.

Your yoga school can send you the needed documents so you can apply before you make your way to Thailand or if you are inside Thailand on a Visa Exempt Entry or Tourist Visa they can apply with you at a local Immigration Office for the Non Immigrant B visa.
