After thirteen years being together and the village wedding back in 2018, we want to get our marriage certificate. I have US (native) and NZ passports and have divorce decrees from both US and NZ.

Can anyone tell me the steps required to get our marriage certificate from her hometown in Surin? There seems to be conflicting info on different sites.

My main questions are:

* Do I need to go to both embassies with my divorce decrees, or is the last one sufficient?

* Is there a need to also go to the Legalization Division of Consular Affairs Department? I saw this on only one site

Thanks for your insight into this... we'd like the smoothest experience possible!

Hi. This falls under everything else but hoping for some advice.

My father in law is very unwell. He’s a monk and is currently staying at the hospital for monks in Bangkok for the last few months. His health is getting worse and he’d like to be moved to a hospital in his home town of Surin so that he can be near family. I’ve spoken to a hospital in Surin and they are able to accommodate him.

The only issue is transporting him from Bangkok to Surin. I’d drive him but he needs pretty frequent medical supervision. I’ve tried speaking to his current hospital and they are unable to transport him. I’ve tried looking for a private ambulance service or something similar that could transport him but no luck so far. Does anyone here know a company/service that could do transport him? Or does anyone know another option?

Thank you.

Hi all.

I want to have a document translated from English to Thai, is there a service in Buriram or Surin?

I am in Surin.

I need an official translation that will be accepted by a Thai go department.

I'm considering a move to Surin, and have a Chiang Mai-based retirement extension that doesn't expire until August. Is it possible to move that visa, or do I have to return to Chiang Mai to renew/do 90 day reports?
