Hi all, I am applying for a work visa tomorrow for a school, does anyone know if I need a police check for a non b work visa application?

I have a 60 day Tourist visa, can I apply for an O-A 12 month multiple entry visa in Thailand or do I have to first apply in Australia due to the list of requirements such as police check, health insurance and medical certificate.

Hi all, Just a quick question, I think I know the answer but just hoping I’m wrong, I have returned back to the UK just to sort out a better visa as I have pushed my tourist visa days to the limit I believe, I’m going for the O-A visa based on being over 50, I jumped straight in quick and applied for a police check with CRB payed £65.00 and have received my paperwork from them, it was clear as expected, but have just gone onto the Thai embassy London website and see that they say they only except police checks from one certain company, is this correct ? Do I need to start again, :/

Can anyone please advise 17 years ago in 2001 i was convicted of drink drink driving in the UK of which incidentally i am not proud and received a prison sentence of 28 days if i applied for a visa based on retirement in my home country based on retirement would this go against me with the Thai consulate ? Secondly would i be better advised applying in Thailand where as far as im aware there is no police check? I ve not been in any trouble since All advice would be appreciated
