I have looked to see if this question is answered elsewhere on this site. Forgive me if I've missed it. I am on a Non-OA obtained last March from the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra. My current stamp allows me to stay until January 2021. However, I am going back to Aus for 3 weeks at the end of April and plan to apply for a new visa then. One of the requirements is the provision of a police check. What I am wondering is if a new police check from Australia will suffice or if I need to get a Thai police check. If it's the latter, can someone give me an idea of how to get one. I am in Chiang Rai.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking for clarification on whether an Australian police check will be accepted when applying for a new Non-OA visa, or if a Thai police check is required. Comments suggest that an Australian police report is most likely sufficient, and they recommend contacting the Australian Thai Consulate for additional guidance.
