ORIGINAL POSTERHi I’m currently in the Uk getting my paperwork for my non o visa as the parent of my daughter who has an ed visa. Can I check to see whether it is now necessary to have the police check done? Not that I have anything to hide it’s just another added cost as I have to pay to get it done quickly? I shall heading to the London embassy beginning of January?

do not confuse a Non-immigrant Type O visa with a Non-Immigrant Type O-A visa <-note the A after the O). They are completely different visas and work differently.
