Question on switching from Non-OA retirement extension to ED visa

Hi all. My husband is on a non-OA based on retirement that he obtained in his home country, Taiwan. Previously in Thailand he had a “research” visa (similar to ED visa) with a university in Bangkok, a paid fellowship. Once that ended, he got the non-OA. Now the university is considering issuing him a new, paid, research visa. Question: if he cancels his current OA & works under the university visa for 1 or 2 years, will he have any problems re-applying again for the OA (or O) in the future? We are in Bangkok.

Hello all, Hope you all have a good day. I am now currently staying in Thailand with ED visa of Thai Language school. And I enrolled at the University and got accepted. So can I change from Language school ED visa to University ED visa without going out from Thailand. Thank you very much and really appreciate all of your comments and recommendations. #VISA

My non-immigrant O visa expires on Jan 18th and should I wait till the Jan 19th and overstay 1 day then immediately apply for covid extension.

Or should I cancel the visa firstly before Jan 18th Then apply for covid extension?

Because my University of visa based on is in BKK and immigration bureau in Samut prakan

Hello all , So I’m in Thailand was on a Ed visa (for a language school) decided that I would like a degree joined a university but struggled getting my new Ed visa in laos left without cancelling anything was told it wasn’t necessary.Been struggling with the TM30 moving into a new place at the end of the month to sort that out . What problems could I face and what could I do to avoid these problems doing the visa directly in Bangkok ?
