TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a student visa for studying in Thailand, you should start by applying to a university or educational institution that you plan to attend. They will guide you through the necessary steps and provide the required documentation. You may need to demonstrate English language proficiency and show proof of funding. It’s important to work through the university's international office to ensure all visa documents are properly handled.

First, apply through the website of the university of your choice. Or contact the international office of the university.

Second, you will need English language proficiency test.

Third, if you offered admission, the international affairs office will handle all visa documents, no need to worry about it.

@Obyang *******
it depends what and where you’re going to study. If you try to enroll in a well know uni then yes there’s quotas and obviously qualifications you need to have. But if you enroll in a informal school most of the time they don’t really mind as long as you paid your courses

If you are studying at a formal education centre like a university then you can get a dependent visa for your child.

If you are studying at an informal school like Thai language or Muay Thai then no they won’t do dependent visas for that.
