What is the best long-term visa option with multiple entries for expats in Thailand?
Query about the best long term Visa with multiple entries , located in Australia, I believe the Non -O Type Visa would be best suited just wondering if anything’s changed at Immigration regarding this , any help would be much appreciated, thanks all .
Answer summary
The Non-O Visa is commonly a single entry visa; however, it can be extended within Thailand for an additional fee if certain age and financial requirements are met. For those looking for multiple entries, a re-entry permit can be obtained to maintain the visa status when leaving Thailand. Alternatively, some expats are recommending the Non-Immigrant OA or OX visas for longer stays, which also allow for multiple entries.

The Non-O visa is typically single entry which will garner you a 90 day permission to stay. It can be extended for 1,900 baht inside Thailand for a year permission to stay if you meet the age and financial requirements. A multiple re-entry permit can be obtained for 3,800 baht that will keep that permission to stay alive when you leave and re-enter Thailand.
