Hi what do I need to bring with me when entering Thailand for the first time with a DTV?

- 20,000THB in cash

- Copy of the DTV

- Passport

Anything else?

One of the requirements for the DTV is a "Document indicating current location". If I'm flying to Vietnam to get my visa, can a hotel or Airbnb I'm staying at give me such document? Does anyone know if there's any standardized template or form?

Can someone explain what is meant by, or what peoples experiences have been with Thai Immigration officials’ interpretation of this requirement?

Am I to understand that for a 60-day visa you are supposed to have all your accommodation booked and payed for under your name?

I am applying for a multi entry visa but is requiring a confirmation letter of where I will be staying in Thailand. I will have some difficulty obtaining this. I have provide the address and contact number of where I will be living. Would this be enough to get my visa?

Penang SETV update.

Definitely had to fill in a Penang Application Form. The man will give you one if you don’t have the right one.

Gave confirmation of accommodation, confirmation of flight. (They have to be printed - printer van just outside RM10 first page RM2 for the rest of the pages also you can email him anything you need printed)

Also copy of passport. We have a daughter and I gave a copy of her unabridged birth certificate.

Didn’t get asked about bank acc.

All went well and picked up the passports today.

I am from india Hello guys I finally decided to stay 15days only ..visa on arrival....I have a invitation to celebrate newyear and Christmas....so I will be staying with Thai family....

I will be having return tickets also and 10000bhat cash also....how shall I submit that I am staying with Thai family for 15days ???.. travel dates from Dec 19 to Jan 2 .....can u sugest me about how to show staying ?
