Does anyone did one ALQ not so long ago ? I send my name passport and ticket flight number to one hotel for book, they send me back a certificate with my details name and dates of arriving, but they still not ask me for pay 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Does this certificate is enough for apply for the COE with Emabassy or I should pay the hotel first before send this certificate to Embassy ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring whether a hotel booking confirmation they received, which does not require immediate payment, is sufficient for applying for the Certificate of Entry (COE) at the Thai Embassy. Responses indicate that while some users successfully used such confirmations, others were required to provide proof of payment. Therefore, it's suggested to verify requirements with the embassy in case of hotel changes, as a new COE application would be necessary.

Thanks for the info!

I came back here in April and the booking confirmation ( without pre-payment) from the hotel was enough for the COE to be issued..

Just be aware that if you decide not to pay and change the hotel, you will need to apply for a new COE.

Don't think so, we had to show proof of payment in the US.
