TLDR : Answer Summary
For your 15-day stay in Thailand under a Visa on Arrival, it is recommended to provide documentation for your accommodation. You can either have your Thai family write a formal invitation letter specifying your stay or book a hotel and keep a printout of the reservation. Alongside this, ensure that you carry at least 10,000 baht in cash and a confirmed return ticket. Some advice suggests having 20,000 baht available for smoother immigration processing.

1) book accommodation pay if you stay and keep confirmation printout with you.

2) keep 20k baht or equivalent currency cash with you.

3) Confirmed returned ticket.

You can land any airport no problem.

Have happy and safe trip.

Mr Naik as a person who has done 4 tourist visas from India I advised you few times get a hotel booking if you don't want to complicate things at immigration and want a smooth entry and

Bhat in cash and one more thing - land at Suvarnabhumi because at Don Mueng they will grill you, you can always carry the invitation letter as back up

Thats my experience and opinion, you don't have to shout to prove your point, if DMK doors are greased up for you then well done my man more power to you.

There is NO SUCH RULE that DMK grills and Swampy is easy peasy. The IO has the authority to deny on any RANDOM basis. All things which I mentioned in previous comment quacking in a row will see the OP sailing in smoothly.

You have two options as far as I can see - 1) Get the family to write you a fairly formal email/letter, print it and bring it along with you or 2) Make a cancelable reservation at a hotel through any number of hotel booking websites, print the confirmation and cancel the booking.

There is no way for immigration to cross check the address you put on your visa application/arrival card with where you actually stay (Especially if you stay in Bangkok)

I completely agree with David K Ch as I have done the same last month. Thai ID, Phone number and Line ID of the host did the trick for me.

Gururaj Naik On a plain paper get it written from the family that they will be hosting you and that you have enough money to support youself. Get the Thai id of that person with you and phone number / LINE ID in case immi ppl wana check. Carry a receipt of USD equivalent to 20K. All sorted. No need for notarization or ratifying anything from a lawyer.

There is no format that I am aware of. You are required to show 'proof of accommodation' so if the letter shows the address of the family, the date of your stay and clearly that you are invited and will stay the whole time, then i would think you're ok (presumably the family can write such a letter in Thai and English?)
