Hello!

I am wondering about 7 days to leave visa. Because my tourist visa (45 exempt + 30 extension) expires 7 days before I am meeting my family in Japan. I vaguely remember some people would get '7 days to leave the country' visas if they went to immigration office the day of their expiry?

It was happening when people were denied further Tourist COVID extension visas due to having had education visas in the past.

Grateful for any reliable info on this 🙏 of course, I can also just leave earlier but I am wondering if there's an option.
