TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a 7-day exit stamp from Thai immigration, you typically need to demonstrate your current visa status and residency duration in Thailand. Some users noted that it's important to clarify the difference between a visa extension and a 7-day leave stamp. The leave stamp is not automatically granted and is at the discretion of the immigration officer. You may also be asked about your passport country and the type of visa you are currently holding. Most discussions indicate that the standard exit period provided is 7 days, not 9.
You might not get the 7 day get out of Thailand stamp, it’s at their discretion. Worst case you will be arrested taken to a holding centre and on the day of your flight securely escorted to the plane. An IDC makes the Bangkok Hilton look posh
Ik zou het toch maar wel serieus nemen. Dit is geen stempeltje van plezier en lekker feesten.

That 7 day stamp is not an extension so will start on the day you get it assuming they are inclined to give it to you. They are not required to do so and are within their rights just to refuse to accept an application from you, rather than accepting an application and then refusing it which is what's required for that stamp.

You won't get an extension but an "ORDER TO LEAVE" within 7 days.
Definitely not a stamp you want to have in your Passport (and immigration records). It can affect your travels in the future and not just in Thailand.
If you don't leave in time as you promised on the form, you will be in serious trubble
lol, there is no reason at all to 'trust you' as you not being honest here. The stamp itself will in no way affect your future travels in Thailand and especially elsewhere

Must be a trick question Some people should be denied entry end of story
I think it is a trick question or you are totally delusional I have travelled and visited thailand for a period 3 to 6 months every year for the last 30 years except 2.5 years of the pandemic and have never heard of a 9 day to exit stamp
i see a few other comments actually there is no 9 day exit stamp or leave stamp you are delusional 555 ok go immigration and ask for 9 day exit stamp you will be made look like a total fool they will laugh at you one thing I have learnt in life is you can't teach stupid
actually there is no 9 days to leave stamp. If they give you one it is a 7 days to leave stamp, and it is not automatic, especially if you haven't applied for your 30 day extension yet. Again there is no 9 day stamp of a y mind.

Already done your extension. You can apply same as you did previously and they will decline the extension and give you 7 days to depart Thailand
