Hello would love some advice please - I plan to travel to the Thai consulate in Hull sometime in the next couple of weeks to obtain a single entry 60 day tourist visa, I will be flying to Thailand on a one way ticket next month and I'd planned to sort out a plane or bus ticket to a neighbouring country to show ready for the flight check in and arrival, do I need to have this already booked to show at the Hull consulate? The requirements on the website don't make it clear

Thankss :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice about obtaining a 60-day tourist visa at the Thai consulate in Hull. They plan to travel with a one-way ticket to Thailand and want to know if they need to show proof of onward travel, like a bus or plane ticket, at the consulate. Comments suggest that a travel booking is necessary, and that both bus and plane tickets are acceptable proofs of onward travel, as long as the destination is outside Thailand. It is also recommended to contact the consulate directly for clarification.

Give them a ring and check, the number is on the website. There is a very helpful gentleman there and I think the lady who works there (I have only dealt with her very briefly) is similarly minded.
Robert *******
It can be a plane, bus, boat or train ticket as long as the destination is outside of Thailand.

Thank you I will be staying in Mahasarakham and an agency have guaranteed to find me a job in a school staring in November so not sure when the paper work will be ready, but maybe I can go check out Siem Riep or something! Can it be a bus ticket instead?

My agency had said in their paperwork that a bus ticket was ok proof of onward travel, but it seems not on the Hull website list

i just remove all those how to fix fake tickets comments. Sorry but why fix and fake something as you know you are only allowed to be maximum 90 days in Thailand with this type of visa. Than you have to leave, use the ticket to show and use it to leave.

Point 4 confirm of travel booking, means toward Thailand and leaving Thailand within the period of admitted to stay plus possible extension of stay.
