I just received my Thai pass (it took less than 24 hours from submitting). I have my quarantine hotel booked, bought required insurance, and have my flights booked to fly to Thailand on November 17th. I applied for a 60 day visa but have not heard back so I don’t think I will receive my visa in time for my flight. I have 2 questions.
1. I have a US passport. Is it possible to enter Thailand on a 30 day visa exemption and then extend for another 30 days while in Thailand ?
2. If this is possible, I will have to temporarily change my return flight to be less than 30 days from arrival (in order to get through immigration). This return flight will no longer match what I filled out for my Thai pass. Will that be a problem?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of entering Thailand on a 30-day visa exemption, extending it for another 30 days while in the country, and whether changing their return flight will affect their Thai Pass application. Responses from the community confirmed that entering on a 30-day exemption and extending is allowed, and there's no need to worry about discrepancies in flight details for the Thai Pass.
What goes around comes around. My biggest fear is now that lots of tourists are applying for the Thai pass that at some stage the Thai government will close the borders again and millions will have no way of getting back home.
2 = they don’t ask for your return flight, they just ask for how many days u going to stay? The easiest way is -> get a cheap onward ticket, can be to Singapore or just a “fake” onward ticket from website (google onward ticket)
