TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can extend a 30-day entry stamp received through the visa exempt program while in Thailand. You can apply for a 30-day extension at an immigration office for a fee of 1,900 baht. It's important to note that the original stamp expiration date will be extended by an additional 30 days, so you don't need to wait until your stamp expires to apply for the extension.

You don't have to wait until this stamp is expiring because they ADD the 30 days on to your current expiration date.

Hmm, there is no such thing as a 30 day visa :/

However IF you can in to thailand and were stamped in for 30 days on the visa exempt program you can go to the immigration office and apply for a 30 day extension for 1900baht. :)
