Will my retirement extension be valid until the end date if I return just before it expires?

if you've had the bt800,000 in your Thai bank account for at least two months, and have your bank letters, you can apply for your 1 year extension. You can not get another 90 day extension inside Thailand. That 90 days was so you had time to meet the financial requirement to get your 1 year extension

if you have all your paperwork in order, no problem.
