Hi, I just realised that I missed my 90 days report (at the moment by 1 month). I know that there is a fine of 2000 THB I will need to pay. But does it mean that I will pay same 2000 THB if I show up for the report today or let's say in another 1-2 months ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you miss your 90-day report in Thailand, the fine remains fixed at 2,000 Thai baht regardless of how late you are, whether it's by days or months. You can pay this fine when you report or when you seek other services from Thai Immigration. However, the fine increases to 5,000 baht if you're caught by the police without having completed your reporting.

And don't forget the fine is 5000 baht if you are stopped/caught by the police

The fine is set at 2,000 Thai baht when filed late. It does not increase.

So you can wait until the next time a 90 day report is due or when you need to get any service from Thai Immigration to pay the 2,000 Thai baht fine.

It does not affect your departure or arrival into Thailand.

Yep, that's exactly what it means ๐Ÿ˜› The fine is fixed at 2000baht whether you're 8 days late or 8 months late.

Many people just wait it out until they go to do their next extension then pay the fine & file a 90 day report and after that go apply for your extension.
