Alright so my tourist visa will run out soon. I’m about to visit Malaysia by land and return by land. Do I get 60 or 30 days?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The length of stay upon re-entry into Thailand after a visit to Malaysia by land depends on the visitor's passport nationality. Travelers from qualifying countries may receive a 60-day visa exemption upon re-entering Thailand.

Before you travel out of Thailand for an extension, go to the Immigration Office and extend 30 days for 1900 Baht.

Probably cheaper than travel out or Thailand.

Henrik Mau I already did the extension.

If you are from an exempt country you get 60 days.

Depends on your passport country. If you qualify for an exempt entry it will be 60 days.

So your tourist visa will run out and you will come back into Thailand on a visa exemption? As long as you are from one of the qualifying countries then you will get a 60 day visa exempt stamp

60 via land, the same as air.
