ORIGINAL POSTER
I'm about to extend my 30 days arrival stamp that I got from crossing the Cambodian border. However, I do have a pending overstay from my previous extension of stay based on employment (due to my employer mistakenly putting a sooner date than my resignation date), my question is am I going to pay any overstay fine at IT square Lak Si?My current stamp will run out on Monday.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired about potential overstay fines while extending a 30-day visa exempt entry after a previous overstay due to an administrative error by their employer. Responses from the community clarified that extending the 30-day stamp at IT Square Laksi should not pose issues, as fines for overstaying typically only apply when applying for a long-term visa or other extensions based on employment. Since the poster had returned to Thailand after leaving the country, they were unlikely to incur fines related to their previous employment extension.

Just want to give people a follow up on what happened.

Despite having an uncancelled employment extension in his passport AND the dire warnings by people the O/P had NO ISSUES getting the 30 day extension on his 30 day visa exempt entry.

As I expected, they told him he'd only get that overstay fine IF he got a long term visa and went to get an extension <- which is when they'd assess the "overstay" fine.

He isn't really on overstay, as he's left the country and came back BUT overstay fines are the only thing immigration can fine you for in a situation where you didn't cancel an extension correctly. The fine will cap out after 40 days of 500baht a day or 20K baht AND when/if the O/P ever gets a job here they can worry about sorting it out.

On visa exempt entries OR even tourist visa entries it doesn't affect your ability to get the 30 day extension and they don't try to charge you for the "overstay" for not cancelling the previous employment extension.

SO all's well that ends well . . .

Congrats to the O/P for getting the extension (y)

You are highly unlikely to have any issue extending a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp at IT Square Laksi Plaza with an uncancelled previous employment extension in your passport.

That problem <- where you're fined for overstay because it's not cancelled correctly usually only comes up when you go to get a NEW Non-B visa or NEW extension based on employment/retirement/raising kids/married to a thai, etc

It does NOT come into play with 30 day extensions on visa exempt entries.

OR

As you mentioned in a previous comment before I flushed them all down the bin ๐Ÿ˜ฎ you could bounce out and back in to get your second visa exempt entry this year (that means you'd have no more free stamps by land this year) and get 45 days and then go get the 30 day extension on that stamp when it runs down.

The choice is yours. Either way you are HIGHLY UNLIKELY to have any issue getting a 30 day extension on either this current 30 day visa exempt entry OR the next one if you bounce out and back to get a 45 day stamp.

and on that note, so this doesn't go off the rails, we are done.
